The story of a horrible journey with Turkish Airlines

I had booked a flight to Munich on June 11 2024. It was Turkish airline flight no TK709.

The flight did not take off on time.

During the check-in. The Turkish airline staff gave me two board passes . One was for my current flight . The other was for connecting flight TK1633 for Munich. This boarding card have no Gate number and the bording time was given 10:15 Turkish time.

Anyone can see that it was impossible for an old man like me to run for the boarding at next gate after getting thought Transfer and Control for International flight. This should have made some arrangement for me.

My next flight was at 11:35 Turkish Time. When I came out of transfer control at 10:00. I went upstairs and and registered for one hour free internet. After registering at the free WiFi, I called my daughter in Germany and told her that I have landed in Istanbul.

After talking with her I looked at the board and shocked to find that boarding has been closed at 10:20.

This information shocked me. When went to the help desk asked why this happened. I told her it was impossible to get to Gate no F-7 at great speed.

Though they issued me a fresh ticket for the next flight. I had to wait three hours for their incompetency and mismanagement.This incident shows that Turkish airlines does not know how to manage flights .

At the Munich airport , I got the baggage after great effort. Thanks to the Munich Airport’s cooperative staff.
